WHAZAMO! COMICS: AGNES GARBOWSKA

Open Book is celebrating the outstanding graphic novels and comics published here in Ontario and throughout the country with Whazamo! profiles, contests, videos and a series of original literary comics curated by Vepo Studios. I was honoured to be asked to be a part of the celebration.


Every TUESDAY and THURSDAY for the month of May, Open Book: Toronto will feature an original comic by a Canadian cartoonist. I was asked to share a story of one book that has inspired me as artists. I knew right away the story I wanted.

This weekend I am a part of TCAF - The Toronto Comic Arts Festival

Saturday May 7th, 9am-5pm
Sunday May 8th, 11am-5pm

You can find me at table 238 on the second floor. See you guys there! Prints, Stickers, Books, and cuteness at my table!

I am also doing a panel at the show for kids and anyone who is looking to learn about web comics titled Introduction to Webcomics for Kids from 1-1:45pm with Audra Furuichi and myself! Sure to be fun. :)
